Multi Car Insurance Quotes are not all the same

Quotes can vary from one company to an other but it is important to find out just what cover you are getting for your money. It is the quality of the cover you need to pay attention to, as all Multi Car Insurance Quotes are not the same.

Are you covered if you are hit by an uninsured driver, are you getting your no claims bonus protected, is everyone on the policy entitled to have their own no claims discount in their own name ? The list goes on, but don't assume that one quote has the same cover as the next.

Time is ticking for your Multi Car Insurance quote

Remember that a company giving you a Multi Car policy usually only guarantees that price for a period of thirty days, so get an exact date from the company as to when that Quote is valid till.

It is always better to do extensive research on all the options that come with a policy such as free use of a courtesy car in the event of an accident causing damage to your car. More importantly check any exclusions that any policy you are thinking of taking out might have.

Remember the Cheapest Insurance Policy is not always the best, do your homework, shop around and you will get the best cover for the best price.

 Change in the law

Since June 2011 Continuous Insurance Enforment has been introduced.

This means that if you have a vehicle registered in your name then you must have it insured. If your vehicle in on the Motor Insurance Database with no record of insurance then you will receive a letter telling you of the new law.

If you ignore this then be prepaird to face a fine.

The only exception to this is if you have registered your vehicle as being kept off the public roads with the DVLC by completing a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN)

This new law has been introduced due to the ever growing number of uninsured drivers.
